About the Collector's Vault
The Collector's Vault is our dedicated destination for genuinely desirable premium guitars. Where our Ridiculous Reverb Listings section leans into the weird and the wildly overpriced, the Vault is for the real thing — vintage Gibson Les Pauls, pre-CBS Fender Stratocasters and Telecasters, Custom Shop Masterbuilt guitars, Murphy Lab replicas of holy-grail bursts, PRS Private Stock one-offs, and the occasional artist-owned instrument with a documented history.
We hand-pick each listing on Reverb with a bias toward the guitars serious players and collectors would actually want to own: honest wear, correct hardware, era-appropriate specs, and pricing that — while never cheap — reflects fair market value for the instrument. Most of what you'll find sits at roughly $10,000 and up, with plenty above $25,000 and a handful reaching investment territory.
