Corrections Policy
We work hard to get every detail right — but we're human. When we find an error, we fix it as soon as possible and document the correction so readers can see what changed.
How we correct articles
- Minor edits (typos, grammar, broken links) are fixed silently.
- Factual corrections (incorrect specs, dates, attributions) update the article and add a dated correction note where the original error appeared.
- Major revisions (substantial rewrites, retracted claims) carry a visible "Updated" date and an editor's note explaining the change.
Spot an error?
Send us a note via our contact page — pick "Correction request" as the inquiry type and include:
- A link to the article
- The specific passage with the error
- What the correct information is
- A source we can verify against, if possible
We review every correction request within two business days and reply when the change goes live.
